The Bible Society of Swaziland and the nation at large, is humbled to be hosting the African Biblical Leadership initiative (ABLI) in September. The Forum is set to bring over 30 African countries into the Kingdom, where they will engage with other local participants. The forum will begin with a youth day on the 25th September, at the University of Swaziland, Sports Emporium And from the 26th to the 27th September the 'main forum' will take place at the Convention Centre, eZulwini.
The vision for ABLI, as it is largely known is to empower African leaders with biblical truths which will foster intergrity in leadership. This is intended to lead to transformed nations that are founded on truth and charecterised by love and justice. The forum was developed with the goal of engaging with a broad audience of African leaders from the public, private, church and non profit sectors. At that, it also seeks to actualize meaningful Youth participartion and represantation..
The ABLI forum serves as a hub for a growing community of practioners who can support, encourage and ,mentor each other. The movement promotes the Biblical vision for social harmony, intergrity and socioeconomic justice in Africa. It is set to inspire leaders to take up the opportunities and challenges of Africa with support and solidarity of their peers. ABLI, has been successefully hosted in other countries including; Ethopia, Kenya, Ghana and Cameroon. And Swaziland is looking forward to host the eighth edition in 2018.
